VT Scout: Vermont news, weather and road conditions
Vermont’s local news is spread across town Facebook groups, slow regional papers and agency press releases. VT Scout brings it into one site, organised by region.

The problem
Vermont local news is fragmented across town Facebook groups, slow regional papers and PDF releases from state agencies.
Finding out what is happening in Burlington or the Northeast Kingdom on a given day takes too many tabs.
What we built
One editorial site for Vermont news, weather and community updates, with regional sections across the state.
Structured data runs through the site so search engines can attribute stories correctly.

How it is built
A Next.js site with structured data on every page type.

- Next.js
