CleanBreak: a no-contact streak and recovery companion
An iPhone app for the hardest nights after a breakup: a streak counter for staying no-contact, and a panic line that is free on every plan and still works offline.

The problem
Breakup apps either lecture or turn recovery into a game that feels hollow on the one night it matters.
Nothing was built for the moment someone is about to message their ex, the moment the app has to catch.
What we built
A no-contact streak drawn live with Skia, and a panic line to an AI friend that is wired the same way on every plan, so it cannot end up behind a paywall.
Texting, calling or meeting up resets the streak. Checking their social media is logged and never punished. When the network is down, the panic line falls back to a grounding exercise on the device.
How it is built
The app keeps everything on the phone by default. A small server only relays the AI conversations.

Results
Crisis resources and the panic line are the same on every plan, by design rather than by a setting.
Streak, journal and check-ins stay on the phone.
What is next
- A Live Activity so the streak stays visible on the lock screen.
- Milestone videos that share properly to TikTok and Instagram.
- An Android version once the iPhone app is in the App Store.
