TACOVICI LED Light Mirrors

A lit mirror is hard to buy online: will it fit, how does the light look, and what will it look like on my wall? The TACOVICI store answers all three, on a Shopify theme built for mirrors rather than for retail in general.

TACOVICI Mirror Studio: a lit rectangular mirror placed over a green vanity in a bathroom photo, with 20 by 28, 32 by 24 and 40 by 24 inch sizes, warm, natural and cool light, and the product with its price and Add to cart beside it
Mirror Studio puts a real product on a bathroom wall at its real size, with the price and Add to cart beside it.
A 17-second tour of Mirror Studio on the live store: pick a room, drop a mirror on the wall, try another size, then warm and cool light.

The problem

Generic retail themes treat a mirror like a T-shirt: a photo, a size list and a button. A shopper still has to guess whether it fits the vanity and how the light will look in the room.

The store also sells on Walmart, eBay and Wayfair and through Google Shopping, so product facts have to stay the same everywhere they appear.

What we built

A Shopify theme designed for the business: a lit hero with real light controls, shape sketches, a size finder, buyer’s guides, and Mirror Studio for placing real products on a bathroom wall at true scale.

An embedded admin app and a set of catalog scripts for orders, marketplace listings, metafields and spec sheets, with a validator that runs before every theme push.

Standout features

  • Try the light before you buy it

The home page mirror is lit: shoppers pick Relax, Everyday or For makeup, or slide the warmth and brightness themselves, and see what the colour temperatures on the spec sheet actually look like.

  • Mirror Studio

Pick a bathroom or upload a photo of your own, set the vanity width, and drag a mirror from the store onto the wall. It is drawn to its real inches, sizes switch in one tap, and a second mirror covers a double vanity.

  • TACOVICI home page section: Shop by mirror shape, with line drawings of rectangle, round, oval, medicine cabinet and dressing mirrors, and links to shop by smart, anti-fog and dimmable

    Shopping by shape and size

Shapes are drawn as sketches rather than product photos, and a vanity-width finder recommends only sizes the store actually sells.

  • TACOVICI collection page for LED lighted bathroom mirrors, with shape and width filters on the left and sort buttons above lit mirror product cards

Collections a shopper can narrow down

Collection pages filter by shape and by exact width, with counts beside each size, and sort by price, newest or rating.

  • The store run from one admin

An embedded Shopify app handles orders and products alongside Walmart, eBay, Wayfair and Google Merchant Center, and scripts keep metafields, spec sheets and catalog claims in step with what is actually for sale.
